KIDS MATTER TO US BECAUSE THEY MATTER TO GOD

Jesus placed a special emphasis on loving little ones, and there is a place for them in our children's ministry. The process of discovering a God who loves them and who is interested in every aspect of their lives is an exciting time for children. We invite children to join us as they begin their journey in understanding the grand story that God has written and how they fit into it.

Everyone who leads and assists in our ministries with children has been police checked and is passionate about teaching Jesus to young people.

FAQ

WHAT AGE DOES YOUR CHILDREN'S MINISTRY BEGIN?

We have a fully staffed creche where volunteers will gladly look after your newborns and young ones. Children are precious but also have a heavy influence on our schedules, the things we can attend and how well we can engage with others. It's our desire to remove as many obstacles for young parents as we can so that children are happy and well looked after and parents can enjoy adult fellowship and worship.

HOW ARE THE CLASSROOMS ORGANIZED?

We have infants through age 5 in our creche. Babies and toddlers are situated on one side of the room while our older children are located on the other side. Children ages 3-5 will have Bible lesson in the corridor as part of the morning. Once children reach the age of 5, they graduate to our L.A.B. program that meets in the corridor.

IS CHILDREN'S MINISTRY AVAILABLE THE ENTIRE SERVICE?

Our creche is open 15 minutes before the service begins and lasts the entire service. Children aged 5 and above in the L.A.B will join the church for an opening song before being dismissed to their own program.

ARE CHILDREN FED A SNACK DURING THE SERVICE?

If your child needs a snack during the service, we encourage you to provide one for them. Our volunteers are happy to help with this as per your instructions. Otherwise, our morning tea begins shortly after 11 and children are encouraged to participate in that.

DO YOU USE A CURRICULUM?

Yes. We use a curriculum called 'Dig In' which emphasizes unpacking the Bible, 'digging' into the story of scripture and presenting those things in a relevant and engaging way for kids.
