Welcome to the home of Peninsula Christian Schools Since its founding in 1972, PCS has developed a rich heritage in the lives of thousands of children and families from throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. PCS provides quality alternate education in a specifically Christian environment for children from Preschool (age two) through Eighth Grade. We aim specially to serve urban children of mid-to-lower income families who might otherwise be considered “at risk” educationally. Our preschool, Kiddie Garden, offers a learning-experience based program with an academic emphasis to prepare for Kindergarten. The elementary segment for Kindergarten to 4th Grade provides solid foundations for a career of scholastic achievement. An integrated Middle School (5th-8th Grades) produces students well prepared for High School and beyond. Modest tuition rates and extended daycare make PCS an ideal option for many of the Bay Area’s budget-minded working families. We are centrally located in downtown Redwood City within easy access by highways and major arteries from the entire Peninsula. PCS is a charter member of ACSI (the Association of Christian Schools International), and is sponsored by Peninsula Christian Center, an Assemblies of God church. |
